Postdoctoral research fellowship

I am seeking applications for a postdoctoral research fellowship at the University of Haifa for the academic year 2023-24. The research project is titled Origins and Composition of the Alexander Romance, funded by the Israel Science Foundation (ISF).
My main hypothesis at this stage of the project is that the earliest version of the so-called Ps.- Kallisthenes' Alexander Romance (AR) we have today - the alpha recension - is based on an earlier version, deriving from the Ptolemaic realm around the mid-third century BCE. Work so far has focused both on collecting evidence to support this hypothesis and conceptualize the hypothetical core work, and on identifying where the rest of the material comes from.
I am looking for candidates who have completed their PhD in Ancient History, Classics, or other aspects of ancient Mediterranean civilization, and who would like to work on the AR.
Ancient Greek imperative. Classical Armenian highly desirable!
Applicants must hold a PhD by the beginning of the fellowship tenure period. I expect the successful candidate to devote most of their time to research on the project, be present on the University of Haifa campus, present their research in appropriate forums, meet informally with advanced students, etc.
The fellowship offers a stipend of NIS 100,000 for one year. A second year of funding is optional, but not mandatory. Please note that according to the current cost of living at Haifa the stipend will easily support a single person; a couple or a family will require an additional source of income.
